Aftermath of childbirth, there are several important things you need to do to regain your shape back. In the past nine months your body has gone through several changes so take it easy and use the next nine months to get back to full fitness level you have been longing for. You don’t have to use the whole nine months but the point is to have a plan and take your time. You don’t need to worry yourself about getting back into shape overnight, which is just not possible. So here are some five things to guide you through the process.
Firstly, have your plans. If you fail to have a plan then you are inadvertently planning to fail. Take your time, write out a program and stick to it. Just like making a budget for your money you need a budget for your time. Make sure you schedule your eat time, sleep time, work time and most important your relaxation and exercise time. Stress can easily add on to your weight so you need to slow down a bit.
Secondly, it is so important to eat right. This is one of the most important things you need to take note of; You need to eat a well-balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables. In this day and age this is something that is often overlooked, especially with our hectic lifestyles. Convenience is always in conflict with good health. Absolutely do not give in to the diet market schemes. Good health is a lifestyle and not a fad diet. So eat several times a day majoring on fruits or vegetables, just watch you portion sizes, eat often and you will not get hungry.
Thirdly, make sure you get plenty of sleep. Yea, I know that is hard but do it. Please make sure you get six to eight hours of sleep at night and take a nap during the day. Even if you just take a 15 minute nap after lunch or mid-afternoon, you will be really marveled how much better you can feel.
Fourthly, Well, most of us cannot plan our own work time, but talk to your employer. It is quite possible that you can arrange hours that can benefit them as well as you and your family.
Fiftly, Life is too short as it is and everyone needs to take it easy to really enjoy it to the fullest. A good exercise plan can help you relax and will build your stamina making you feel better and better. You might want to consider buying a jogging stroller so you can take your child with you on walks. Jogging can be of good benefits to your health. So many people get so depressed thinking about an exercise program but shouldn’t. Just start out slow, walking, then slowly speed up a little every day, until you start jogging. Experience shows that it is most beneficial to just increase your heart rate by around thirty percent just for fifteen to twenty minutes a day. Always make sure to warm up first and then warm down after.
